Award winning editor and filmmaker who has been working in film, television and video for over fifteen years.

Natural storyteller with an understanding of how to inform, engage and inspire an audience. Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently and under pressure, delivering good work on time. A collaborative mindset in order to achieve the final goal. A strong understanding of video editing techniques.
Strong understanding and taste for music and audio mixing.
Experience in enhancing the story by evoking an emotion, mood, tension, rhythm; creating a flow and continuity and immerse the audience into an audiovisual experience by using the creative tools such as sfx, music, dialogue and ambient sound.
A Passion for Storytelling.
After years of interest in music and in making my own films, I graduated in Filmmaking in 2011 at the University of Beira Interior, Portugal. In the following year, I went to the UK where I obtained a Director’s Diploma in Raindance Film School. It was in London that I established my career as an editor, having created several television contents broadcasted on SKY TV and participated in several film projects.
Since 2019, I have been working at TVI and CNN Portugal as an editor, having one of my documentaries “Plástico, o Novo Continente” been awarded nationally and internationally, e.g. “Prémio Rey de España“.
The Creative journey.
Passionate for sports, arts and music, where I also create, play drums, guitar, and do voice over recordings.
I performed many live gigs in the UK and Portugal with my bands.
Interest in scriptwriting books and writing short stories scripts.
I took an acting course before stepping into filmmaking, to understand the other side of directing which helped me to develop human emotions and skills inherent to my editing work.
